A friend of mine recently directed me to this website:

Leslie Ludy, (along with her husband,) is the author of When God Writes Your Love Story, (which I hear is a captivating read). She is also the founder of Set Apart Girl, a magazine directed at young women that love the Lord and desire to surrender everything they have to Jesus. The most recent edition convicted me about how I'm... blogging. Right? I know. Check it out!
Angie, Rachel, Kierlyn, and I love the Lord. We want everything we do to honor our Savior King! This blog is a testimony of our lives regardless of what we post, so may we be faithful to echo love and radiate the Spirit of the Living God. We live in abundance. :]

Dear Angie,
Hi. So... I was thinking.
What if this was a four-way blog? A sister-inclusive blog? I mean, I'm just thinking...
;]
Love ya, Ang.

Mud-Trail Dazzle
I ran today.
It's been a long while, but I had to do a 20 minute workout for a college physicial wellness course, so I chose to start up my re-revving of the ol' endurance.
I ran to Christmas music and Josh Garrells.
I found out I haven't used my Shuffle since around December 25th.
But last night? Last night I made apple crisp. Apple crisp with sugar. Lots.
I wanted apples and I wanted dessert, {because I always want dessert,} so kitchen experimentation began with cast iron, flour, oats, an apple, brown&white sugar, milk, and olive oil.
Grandpa and Grandma liked it. I thought the oatmeal to sugar ratio was off. {Life's oatmeal to sugar ratio is generally off.}
Hope you're feeling the blessings today. :]

DIY Gripped Collage Water Bottle
I've never been a fan of the term "up-cycle". It's been floating about the blogging community for a while now. The word is so... grease-spot-on-a-cardboard-box. There are great words out there; lavish, ferocious, cream, Donegal, Inuit, etc. These kinds of words are so... run-your-fingertips-'cross-willow-bark. They are nice terms. Why on earth could we not call the remake/redo/upcycling stuff something relishable? Popular things should sound lovely as well as clever. However, I cannot think of anything truly brilliant to replace it, so I'll speak no further.
On the topic...
I amped up my freebie water bottle received upon transferring schools. Now it has a collage of blue wrapped in silicone. We all adore Mod-Podge, but in this case the silicone layer gets the water bottle grippable, making it great for athletics without the hassle of being too sticky and covered in fuzz. {Fuzz. Another excellent word. Fuzz fuzz fuzz.}
The process:

Monster Cookie
My portion of this blog is slipping, this I know. Angie was getting ahead of me and knew it was time to take what I had, {weekend sunlight,} and throw together a post. {Light has valuable properties of motivation for me.}
In regard to my mention of the recent thriftventures:
My thrifting secret?
Come closer.
Now read the next part in your best whisper:
Look for the grandma shirts.
Yep. If it's a plain, basic color and a shirt that looks like it's made for the feminine 60+ category, you're in business. Oh, examples? Consider the following:
Pair with heels.
~~Okay- gotta dash!
Here's what I've been recently praying for:
Increased humility & wisdom. I need it. Praise the Lord for His hastening of our growth. <3
"Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up."
"But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy, Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace."
"Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things."
