You're gonna love and hate this, Ang. This week was full of coffee and deals. Deals and coffee. {Snoozin' and treats. Treats and snoozin'.}
Bread & Chocolate was the venue of choice to start up a new weekly college ladies prayer meeting. A handful of college gals and I decided to seek the Lord in tight-knit community. We hunger for the living God! I am blessed by the Holy Spirit's prompting in our conversation and the way the Lord glides our hearts into the ways of beauty, edification, and grace. He is teaching us to love.
Between school, homework, lacrosse practice, and attempting to balance my new social atmosphere, I find myself running to coffee as a sort of blankie I drag with me to everywhere. I've downed so many cappuccinos in the past week that my hair is beginning to look caffeinated.
I hit up Unique Thrift with Grandma yesterday. She scored fake flowers. I scored a briefcase almost identical to a vintage black Coach Angie throws over her shoulder, {but with buttery brown leather,} and a Ralph Lauren button up defining all that is raw and classic. I'll take pictures and allow you to live vicariously.
P.S. Thanks a lot, Angela, for creating a huge desire for a turquoise and silver ring. I wanted one so badly, became satisfied with my simple sterling from Ireland, then read your recent post. Ooh, turquoise. You melt my little western thumper.
I'm going to Duluth this weekend. :] {'Picking up a shift at the country club for a friend.} Hopefully I'll find myself walking the North Shore at some point.
Love from Minnesota,
Kaelie
